1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Blueroll mobile application ("App") or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Maria Iontseva ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom.

2. Description of Service

Blueroll is a food safety management application designed for restaurants and food businesses in the United Kingdom. The Service provides:

Digital HACCP checklists and compliance records
AI-powered recipe import and digitisation
Automatic allergen matrix generation
Compliance report generation for Environmental Health Officer inspections
Team management, task assignment, and incident tracking
Document storage with expiry alerts for certificates and licences

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, and business details. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered as a paid subscription at £14.99 per month, billed as an auto-renewable monthly subscription.

Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Billing: Payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your App Store or Play Store account will be charged at confirmation of purchase.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
Price changes: We may change subscription pricing with advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period of 14 days for new subscribers. During the free trial:

You will have full access to all features of the Service.
No charge will be made during the trial period.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription at £14.99/month.
You may cancel the free trial at any time through your device's subscription settings. If cancelled during the trial, you will not be charged.
Free trial eligibility is limited to one trial per Apple ID or Google account.

6. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all data, content, and records you create or upload through the Service ("User Content"), including recipes, HACCP records, compliance documents, and team data.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not use it for purposes unrelated to providing the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
Resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Maria Iontseva and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United Kingdom and international treaties.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

While Blueroll is designed to assist with food safety management, it does not replace professional food safety advice, official HACCP consultancy, or regulatory compliance audits. You remain solely responsible for ensuring your business complies with all applicable food safety laws and regulations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or regulatory penalty arising from your reliance on the Service for food safety compliance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination:

Your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may delete your account and User Content after a reasonable retention period, unless required by law to retain it.
Any outstanding subscription fees remain payable.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us at hello@blueroll.app.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
